# Test Data

Test data usually consists of TST or CSV files *(unless you have another input adaptor for a different file type)*. The CSV files can be manually created by you and uploaded to the console server, whereas TST files can be downloaded from a production server based on real live input to those servers.

Once you have test data available, you can select it in your configuration and upon deployment of that configuration to a test server, have the test data automatically sent along with it.
