# Project Definition

Project definitions are used by the Project assistant during project creation. These templates greatly simplify the job of creating a new project.

The code used for the project definition has no particular significance, it is simply an identifier. If you create your own project definitions, we suggest that you do NOT prefix them with “pr” as we may add new definitions later.
