# Input Adaptors

Input adaptors define how the <code class="expression">space.vars.X\_Agent\_Name\_Single</code> interprets data that is sent to it. A large number of different adaptors such as `XML`, `CSV`, `TST`, `HTTP` and other data formats are shipped out of the box. New adaptors can be added, if required.
