# Protocols

Protocols are network specific, low-level interpretations of the data flowing over a network. Examples of protocols include HTTP, SMTP and ISO8583. Composable Agentic Platform has a special <code class="expression">space.vars.X\_Agent\_Name\_Single</code> *(accessible via administrator privileges)* that allows for the definition of protocols.
